Back To Her Roots...

She's been playing with watercolors lately. Back to a medium she absolutely adores. Getting ideas for a class to post on CraftEdu.com. Warm weather and watercolors, a perfect combination!

She Hammers In The Evening...

She loves textured metal! A really fun way to impart texture is with a hammer...


Tim Holtz has a really cool Texture Hammer that comes with several screw on heads.


She wanted to simulate the feeling of tree bark, so she took a riveting hammer and added a slew of blows to the flat metal screw on head that comes with Tim's Hammer Set. Now all she has to do to get a wonderful bark-like look is to hammer her annealed metal with her custom hammer. Her mind is swimming with design ideas. Hmmmm...maybe she could get Tim to sell her the metal screw on heads in bulk???? ;-)
